The standard edition of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 will be costing £55 (~$90) in the UK, which is a lot more than your average game. Activision claims that the weak pound and record development costs take their toll on all platforms.
Other publishers are following suit and raising prices too, we can expect the prices to stay the same, even after the pound strengthens again. Let's just hope Activision listens to their fans and decides not to go through with this.
